Clarification of Setter Status

Any member of NCFHA who wishes to take a year or more off from playingbut who still wants to receive "The Shorts" newsletter and have the option of returning to her team without reentering the league as a new player is called a setter. We have clarified the requirements of this category of membership in order to tighten up our database and streamline the maintenance of our membership roster. Please read this explanation if you are now or plan to be a setter. This will serve as the only official announcement:

The NCFHA setter policy states:
Each year that a player wants to register for setter status she must pay a $5.00 administrative fee and notify her team Captain of her intentions in writing. She can send an e-mail or a hard copy note. A member who has fulfilled both requirements (the payment and stating their indication in writing) may then return to the same team at the beginning of the season in which she wishes to resume as an active player. If a player does not submit a written request and pay the setter fee, then she will be taken off of the official roster and must reenter the league as a new player.
