WHAT TO BRING
1) A check for your membership fees. Fees are $80 if you have a USFHA membership that expires after 12/31/2009. You must provide proof of USFHA membership (see below). If proof of membership cannot be provided at New Player Day, then you are required to fill out a USFHA membership form at New Player Day and pay the $50 fee.
2) Completed USFHA membership form. Register online here:
If you are already a USFHA member you will need to provide proof of membership. Bring a photocopy of your USFHA membership card OR a print out of the email from the USFHA with the membership number and expiration date.
If you are unsure of your USFHA number, you can get it by going to the USFHA website and creating a login. Once you create the login, you are emailed your username and password which you use to access the membership site and get your USFHA # online. You could also call the USFHA at 719-866-4567.
3) Gear Required:
*Field Hockey stick - we will have loaner sticks available for New Player Day
*Goalie Gear if you are a goalie
*White T-shirt
*Mouthguard
*Shinguards
*Cross trainers or turf shoes
*Water
NEW PLAYER DAY SCHEDULE
2:00 pm: Check-in at the table at the field gate, warm-up and stretch.
2:30 –4:00 pm: Warm up drills and play in a few short scrimmage games.
After you play, you are free to go. Team Captains then meet to divvy all of you up onto our existing teams. You will then be contacted by phone or email the following week by the Captain of your new team to tell you your game schedule and to welcome you to our great hockey league!
